New Research and Evaluation Unit

In 2009, the ACSO Council resolved to establish a Research and Evaluation Unit within its organisational structure.  The Unit will be based from our Richmond office, comprise 3.5 EFT and is funded for a 3 year period.   The scope of the Unit will include; developing and implementing ACSO’s Research Agenda and Evaluation Framework, contributing to funding submissions for new innovative projects, current programs and research projects and managing academic research partnerships including student placements.  The Unit will play a significant role in delivering ACSO’s strategic directions over the next 3 years and will work collaboratively with the ACSO programs and within the organisation’s Quality and Strategic Frameworks.

The Unit will assist ACSO to improve its understanding of our current clients and their circumstances, and also those of emerging and potential client groups; through research, and through evaluation of ACSO’s programs.
